Building Secure Authentication for Connected & Non-Connected Government Systems

On-Demand Recording Interagency Briefing Recorded August 18, 2026

Pursuant to EO 14306, Sustaining Select Efforts to Strengthen the Nation's Cybersecurity, federal agencies must continue strengthening identity management, authentication security, and protection of federal information systems. While many enterprise applications support centralized identity services, many agencies continue to operate a variety of systems, including standalone computers, legacy applications, and emergency response systems that require secure authentication without relying on continuous network connectivity.

This briefing will provide case studies and best practices, similar to what was implemented by USAF with practical strategies for securing both connected and non-connected government systems using secure authentication systems.

Why you should attend this briefing:

Participants will learn how agencies can eliminate employee-managed passwords, strengthen multi-factor authentication, centrally manage credential policies, and improve authentication security across mission-critical systems.
